Who we are
Black Tide Inc. is a maritime services provider that excels in providing platforms and services across a diverse range of ocean-based evolutions. We remain the West Coast‘s premier support vessel providers and operators.
Our history
Founded by two like-minded individuals that come from multi-generational maritime backgrounds who both have a passion for the industry and a drive for the work. Nick and Mark have both built ABS classed vessels and continue to work overseas and offshore across their fleet. Each have extensive work completed on the west coast, Alaska, Hawaii, New Zealand, Ireland, Australia, United Kingdom and Mexico. We proudly continue to serve as a primary DOD contractor along the West Coast region.
Our Services
Black Tide and their support fleet have expertise across a variety of jobs at sea. We have experience ranging from supporting USN autonomous vessels, towing explosive targets, recovering sensors and buoys from over 1000nm offshore and providing security and escort details. We frequently support scientific diving and surveys, commercial diving and salvage, short range and long-range support missions, acoustic tracking of underwater vehicles, and countless other tasks. We deliver reliable and efficient solutions for complex ocean-based projects.
